Our Little Flowers and Blue Knights ended the year with a nice reception at the end of Mass Saturday night. Contessa completed Wreath II virtues and Opie completed Shield I Armor of God. Fr Richard presented each girl with a rose during Mass and each boy with a scroll certificate with Ephesians 6:10-17 in it. We met throughout the year at the church. The parent-led meetings allowed for variety in teaching the children. The children learned scriptures to reflect the virtues and about the lives of saints to reflect the virtues. The children did wonderful crafts throughout the year, prayed numerous Divine Mercy Chaplets and Rosaries together and I think the boys group even had spear practice outside throwing spears at sins in the ring!
