March Favorite Fives

This month’s Favorite Fives “Show and Tell” is to share five small things in your day that make you smile. This is not to include our precious children.. just five things you see in your day to day life that make you smile. Thank you to everyone who participated last month. ~One~

My wedding band, my husband gave to me back in 1994… to this day when I see it, I smile and can remember exactly how he asked me to marry him.

Anything my needle and thread can smock… I find it so relaxing. One day I hope to smock beautiful heirloom dresses like these beautiful ones made by a dear friend.. ( who also makes me smile!)

Cream in my morning coffee.. gets me started and ready for a day like this

~Four~

Praying with Matthew’s rosary and Tenner sent to us in love by two sweet people I’ve never met. When we all take turns during our rosaries and I see the beads in our children’s hand, I smile when I remember Matthew holding it in his tiny little hand.

~Five~
Crayons and Markers…I still love to color and make beautiful artwork right along side my children. I guess it is from coloring with my mom when I was little. She always made her color strokes look so perfect. She always chose the right colors… Now my children look at me to see what colors I am choosing….My children love to ask if we have a stained glass color page for the Saint of the day!
