Feast of St Nicholas

We celebrated the Feast of St Nicholas with our shoes filled with chocolates and other goodies, followed by a long Doctor appointment for the new baby. The ultrasound took almost an hour as they checked over everything. Within minutes we knew the gender of this little person. We had cupcakes ready at home to fill with pink or blue icing. We were laughing as we were leaving the Doctor appointment thinking how disappointed the children would be should they take a bite of a cupcake to find something like purple or both colors in the cupcakes had the baby not cooperated. Luckily for them, “we knew.”
We gathered the children around and everyone took a bite. I am sure no matter what color they saw, their reactions would probably have been the same. Everyone is just so happy this little person still has a strong heartbeat.
I’ll see if you can figure it out! Happy Feast of St Nicholas!
